On August 21, 2025, I had the joy of bringing a long-dreamed vision to life at The Harvey, one of Fredericksburg’s newest and most charming intimate wedding venues. Planning for this styled shoot began back in April, when the wonderful photographer @andreajangphoto and I gathered a trusted team of Texas wedding vendors to design a day that felt magical from start to finish.
The Harvey: A Fairytale Fredericksburg Wedding Venue
Tucked away in Fredericksburg, Texas, The Harvey (the_harveyfbg) is a hidden gem created for small weddings up to 100 guests. The venue feels like a fairytale cottage with a modern twist — minimal yet romantic, with warm wooden tables and chairs that create a cozy and welcoming setting. Design Inspiration: Texas Wine Meets Cottage Romance
The inspiration for this shoot came from my father, whose love and passion as a Texas sommelier sparked the concept for the design. I wanted to celebrate the beauty of wine and their deep burgundy skins and rich purple hues and translate them into wedding design. From that idea, we created two contrasting looks: one bold and dramatic, the other airy and romantic. Grapes were incorporated throughout the styling, tying the entire shoot back to the vineyard-inspired theme.
