A Garden Tea Party | Catherine & Christian’s Wedding at Woodbine Mansion, Round Rock, TX
Some weddings stay with you — not just because of the beauty, but because of the heart behind every detail. Catherine and Christian York’s wedding on June 12, 2025 at Woodbine Mansion was just that: deeply meaningful, joy-filled, and an absolute dream to bring to life.
About the Yorks
Catherine & Christian are from San Antonio, but wanted to do their wedding at their dream venue, Woodbine Mansion. Meeting each other in UTSA the couple stepped into adulthood together after graduating alongside each other. The Yorks are special. Not only do they love each other dearly, they have love for everyone around them. Regardless of some tough situations, theses two hold each other close and make it through anything.
Weathering the Storm (Literally)
All week leading up to the big day, the forecast showed a 75% chance of storms and rain. It was a planner’s challenge and a couple’s nightmare. But Catherine and Christian never wavered — They stayed grounded in their vision and kept trusting. And in the most incredible twist of fate? The skies cleared. The sun came out. Not a single drop of rain in sight.
It felt like the day was meant to be.
A Bride with a Vision
Catherine, a photographer herself, came into the planning process with a clear vision: soft pastel florals, wildflower touches, and the ambiance of an elegant garden tea party. Though super whimsical, Catherine incorporated hints of timeless romance with the gold accents and her antique beautiful cake design.

She wanted a day that was relaxed, creative, and deeply personal — and as her planner, it was a joy to help her bring it to life.
Her mom lovingly said, "Catherine always has a vision," and that dream unfolded beautifully across every inch of Woodbine Mansion.
From the start, she and Christian prioritized one thing: to enjoy the day, stress-free. And I’m so proud to say, they did exactly that.
A Ceremony Full of Heart
The ceremony took place on the West Lawn beneath romantic vines — a perfectly intimate setting for their vows. What made it even more special? Catherine’s grandfather officiated, adding a layer of family legacy that had everyone teary-eyed.
Guests gathered on the lawn surrounded by floral arrangements lovingly created by family members, including Christian’s mom, a former florist. It was personal, meaningful, and exactly what was envisioned.
Sweet Celebrations Indoors & Out
Following the ceremony, cocktail hour was held indoors, where guests were treated to delicious bites from PEJ and a chance to explore the historic charm of the mansion.
The reception unfolded on the East Lawn, where hand-crafted décor, wildflowers, and thoughtful details gave everything a whimsical, welcoming vibe. Catherine and Christian DIY’d much of the décor themselves, infusing the space with their personality.
After heartfelt toasts from their Matron of Honor and Best Man, and a blessing from Catherine’s stepfather, the celebration moved indoors for dancing — and the party truly came alive.
A Day to Remember
There was a moment, as the sun dipped low over the mansion, when Catherine and Christian stood together surrounded by everything they dreamed of.
As a planner, it’s a gift to support couples who are present, authentic, and joyfully in love. Catherine and Christian reminded us all what weddings are truly about: love, family, and celebrating the moment you’ve been dreaming of — rain or shine.
Catherine and Christian, it was a privilege to help bring your vision to life. Your day was filled with grace, intention, and joy. Wishing you both a lifetime of laughter, sunshine, and slow mornings together.
