If we haven’t met yet, Hi!! I’m Laoise Matsumoto, the founder and lead planner of Weddings Con Amore, based right here in Austin, TX. I created this blog as a little corner of the internet to share inspiration, honest planning tips, beautiful wedding stories, and pieces of my heart. Whether you’re newly engaged, a fellow creative, or just love love, I’m so happy to welcome you.

Why I Started Weddings Con Amore

Weddings have always held a special place in my heart. Before I was a planner, I spent over 20 years as a violinist, often playing during wedding ceremonies and being surrounded by all that emotion, elegance, and intentionality. It gave me a front row seat to peoples love stories and a deep appreciation for how meaningful and magical a well-planned day can feel.

Weddings Con Amore was born from a desire to blend that artistry and emotion into timeless celebrations. I believe in planning with heart, intention, and lots of love (or as we say around here—with amore ✨).

The couples I connect with most are romantic at heart, thoughtful in spirit, and excited to celebrate in a way that is true to them. Whether you’re envisioning an elegant Austin soirée or an intimate Hill Country celebration under the stars, I love getting to know your story and translating that into a joyful, stress-free experience. 

My Approach to Planning

At the center of everything I do lies connection. I want you and your partner to feel seen, supported, and celebrated every step of the way. From timeline logistics to design mood boards to those emotional little moments that mean the world—I’ve got you. It’s more than checklists (though don’t worry, I love those too) it’s about creating something that feels like you.
